"what is the result if 0.0777 is multiplied by 990/7?"

The book says 11, but I got 9.9. I multiplied (7*10^-2) *990/7, cancelled out the 7s and then multiplied 990 by .01.

What did I do wrong?

Omari,

0.0777 = 777/10000 or 7.77 * 10^(-2) .. not 7 * 10^(-2)
